Metprep Engineering is situated in Wadeville, Germiston on the East Rand, and occupies 1000 square meters of modern factory space accompanied by approximately 200 meters of offices, change rooms and utility area. Our premises comprise two adjoining factories in Wadeville Business Park with 24 hour security. The premises are easily accessed for deliveries and collections via wide fully paved driveways that comfortably accommodate large delivery vehicles. Loading and unloading of vehicles is facilitated by forklift trucks with a capacity of 2½ and 3 tones.

Metprep Engineering has a workshop equipped with modern and mostly new equipment. We are able to tackle a variety of jobs in the medium to light engineering sector ranging from CNC turning, milling, drilling and tapping, press-work and fabrication. We have three fully automatic band sawing machines which process billets from raw material to feed five CNC turning machines. In our fabrication shop we have four heavy duty 350 amp MIG welding machines and an automated welding manipulator ideally suited for production welding. We take on fabrication projects in the region of eight to ten tons and fabricate in mild, carbon and stainless steel.

Our factory runs on a double shift providing flexible planning enabling us to offer quick turnaround to our customers. Our staff is well trained with the necessary skills to meet the requirements of our customers.

Metprep Engineering is committed to a process of continual improvement in order to meet the changing demands of our industry. We are currently in the process of up-grading our internal quality system to meet the requirements of ISO 9001.
